TWO HOUR SUNSET Elephant Tour with an Overnight Stay at the Camp
Two Hours 3:30-5:30pm
8:30: breakfast will be served at the roadside cafe near the welcome area where you will watch the Mahouts bring the elephants down from the mountain where they sleep.
- Feed the Elephants at the Welcome area and get to know each other.
- FIRST HOUR you will trek with the elephants down to the river where you will help them bathe and then perhaps watch them splash around if they are feeling frisky. After their necessary bath, they may just scamper off to get some more food and you can join them for that as well. We let the elephants decide what they want to do and then you can join them for whatever that might be.
- HOUR TWO you will trek to the mountain which is quite spectacular as the sun sets across the Pai Valley and you can spend the last hours of the day with the Elephants before they retire to the mountainside for the evening.
- After the tour, enjoy a hot spring bath in our on-site tubs with water piped in directly from the nearby natural hot springs of Pai.
NOTE: Times can be altered or changed based on availability and convenience. We want you to get to know our elephants and learn about them and their lifestyle, so we will try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible, so long as it doesn’t interfere with the comfort and safety of our Elephants.
